tertiary adsorption process for micropollutants removal - Pulsagreen™
Pulsagreen™ is a pulsed lamellar settling tank decanter with Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC). Pulsations optimize contacting micropollutants with PAC, facilitating their adsorption and elimination during the lamellar settling. The presence of lamellar modules above the PAC bed improves settling and prevents any PAC movement towards the receiving environment.
Pulsagreen™ is used in the refining process for the adsorption of micropollutants and retention of suspended solids. Energy efficient, this decanter allows the reduction of most micropollutants. It can function alone or coupled with an ozonation facility.
key figures
- 5 Wh/m3 of electricity consumption
- 5mg/l of TSS to Pulsagreen outlet
- 80% removal of adsorbable organic micropolluants by doses of 5 to 20mg/l of PAC
