Reading time:Evaporation can prove useful in applications involving concentrated effluents that are difficult (or even impossible) to treat using typical approaches, such as spent machining emulsion baths or cold rolling emulsion baths.
This system (figure 65) can be used to recover a paste-like concentrate for disposal at an approved center or for co incineration and a condensate that can be processed at the plant or, in some cases, recycled.
